Ivan V. Scott, Sr. is the Senior Pastor and founder of the Spirit of the Lord Worship & Deliverance Centers, International. The Spirit of the Lord W.A.D.C Center is a faith-filled, Spirit-led church in Manassas, Virginia. Apostle Scott has been called, chosen, and appointed by God and has been given an apostolic warrior and prophetic cry (voice) for this end time harvest. In January 2009, Pastor Scott was called into apostleship. God had spoken to him many years before in 1995. Apostle Matthew Thomas layed hands and anointed him as an Apostle, with the church and Jesus Christ. In August 2011, Apostle Scott earned his Doctorate Degree in Theology. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Divinity and Bachelors Degree in Christian Education from H. E. Wood Bible Institute in Alexandria, VA.
Apostle Scott has been mandated to be the father of the fatherless, as a man sold out to Christ, and a man after God's own heart. His vision was birthed out of Isaiah 61, Luke 4:18-19, & Eph 4:11-13. Apostle Scott believes that he has been anointed to make an impact in the world and those around him by building people (families), into armies to make an impact and not build buildings, but to advance the Kingdom of God at all cost. Those who know Apostle Scott, describe him as a man who loves the Lord. His desire is God's agenda (will) to stir up the warrior that's inside you. Being faithful and deemed to love God's people to develop them and perfect them that they may become mature servants of God by equipping them for spiritual warfare for today's living.
Apostle Scott is a native of Hampton Roads, VA area. He is also the Founder/Pastor of Spirit of the Lord Churches. Spirit of the Lord New Life Deliverance Center, Int'l in Suffolk, VA and oversees True Deliverance Outreach Ministries, in Windsor, Va. Pastor Ralph E. Scott, Jr. & Lady Elect Althea Scott. At the age of 9, Apostle Scott gave his life to Christ. His grandmother and Mother trained him in the ways of the Word of God. In 1978, while enlisted in the Unites States Marine Corps. He learned the ways of life in the world. In 1989, when Apostle Scott's mother went home to be with the Lord, he had his breakthrough from being broken when he heard the voice of the Lord, and said yes to His will, the will of God.
All that God allowed his mother and grandmother to teach him as a child broke through the deception of the world that was in him. In 1989, God sent Apostle Scott to Washington, D.C. to be trained spiritually under the leadership and prophetic teachings of Prophetess Andrea of Spiritual Tabernacle. He was licensed to minister in 1996 and was sent to Pastor in Manassas, Va. in 2002. In October 2006, Apostle Scott became a Senior Pastor under the leadership of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship through Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr. & Bishop Wesley T. Cherry, Sr. in Manassas, Va. By the leading of the Holy Spirit he is currently with the fellowship of Prophetic Churches and Ministries under the leadership of Dr. Decker H. Tapscott Sr. of Faith Christian Church & International Outreach Center (Warrenton, VA). On June 17, 2010 Dr. Tapscott layed hands and anointed Apostle Scott and his wife to send them forth. Apostle Scott's Ministries include: Getting from Behind the Walls Outreach, Men of Integrity & Spiritual Progress, Growing in Christ through Discipleship, Weapons of Power Prayer Ministry. He also started and founded a prayer ministry in 1994 in the Northern Virginia Postal Services that is still going on today.
Apostle Scott serves with his wife Prophetess Sharon Scott as a husband and wife team in the ministry. They have three God-gifted children: Carlton, Ivan Jr. and Ivory, also a daughter-in-law Takeysha, and 3 grandchildren Carlton Jr., Carlton III, and Arianna.
