Weapons of Power Prayer

"For tough we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare accoding to the flesh and  using mere
human powers.  For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of the flesh and blood], but they are
mighty before God for the overthrow and destructino of strongholds."
-2 Corinthians 10:3-4 (Amplifield Bible)

Weapons of Power is the prayer ministry in the Spirit of the Lord Worship and Deliverance Centers, International. We, the Spirit of the Lord WADC family, believe in the power of prayer based on 2 Cor. 10:3-4. We believe in prayer because without faith and prayer Christianity would not exist. Our Lord Jesus Christ gave Himself continuously to prayer and fasting during His ministry (Matt.14:22-23, 26:36-39, Mark 1:35 and Luke 22:41. Jesus Christ commanded us to pray so that we may not fall into temptation (Luke 22:40). Apostle Paul encouraged us to pray continually (1 Thessalonians 5:17, Colossians 4:2). Prayer is our weapon to Spiritual Authority.

Prayer simply means:

  • Contacting or communicating with God.
  • Submitting your situation to God (Matt. 11:28-30, Prov 1:7)
  • Asking and receiving from God. (Matt. 7:7-11, Heb. 4:16)
  • Reminding God of His promises (Jer. 33:3, Rom. 10:12)
  • A weapon of offense and defense (2 Kings 6:17-18)
  • Standing on the Name of Jesus Christ, the Word of God to
  • Exhort-Prayer be made for all men  (1 Tim 2:1)
  • declare your spiritual authority. (Matt. 16:18-19)

There are different types of prayers:

  • Intercession (Isaiah 59:16, Ezekiel 22:30)
  • Thanksgiving (Ephesians 5:10, Col 4:2 , 1Thess 5:18)
  • Warfare (Matthew 18:18)
  • Asking ( Matt. 7:7, Mark11:24)
